The program serves individuals who identify as female who have experienced partner abuse which includes behaviours that have been hurtful, disrespectful, controlling and/or emotionally, sexually or physically abusive. The program is available to individuals whether they have left their abusive partner or are still in the relationship.
Services Available:
- Supportive counselling and/or psychotherapy services, specializing in domestic violence;
- Provision of information on resources available in the community and referrals;
- Advocacy, support, safety planning and violence prevention strategies;
- Assistance for mothers in supporting their children who have witnessed violence.
Eligibility:
Individuals who identify as female 16 years of age and older.
