Funding may be provided to purchase services of a private worker to provide short-term relief in the child or adult’s own home or supports in the community. The child/adult must have a developmental disability. Caregivers can benefit from short-term respite services and community supports which provides them with the opportunity to engage in self-care and/or tend to other needs.
This funding is made possible by the generous contribution of the United Way of S.D. & G. Provision of these services is dependent on the annual renewal of funding.
