Changing Direction (Partner Assault Response (PAR) Program)

Changing Direction helps individuals who have been ordered by the courts for domestic abuse related criminal charges to participate in a 12-week psychoeducational program.  The goal of the program is to help people take responsibility for and change behaviours that have been hurtful, disrespectful, controlling, or abusive to a current or former spouse or intimate partner.  Groups are available for both men and women in English and in French.

Partner Contact

Partner Contact is a component of the Changing Direction program which provides support and information, referrals and safety planning to partners and former partners whose previous or current partner is participating in the program.  In order to enroll in the Changing Direction program, participants must consent to the Partner Contact component of the program.

Partner Contact is confidential.
